🥳 Happy New Year 🥳



An enormous thank you to every single one of you who has walked through the doors to Bones in 2023. I hope you continue to walk that walk in 2024.


It's been a year where we have added new classes ( unintentionally!) , learnt entirely new classes, entirely new moves and rhythms and forgot them by the next class 😂


We have had some great teachers come to teach with us and I am super excited to announce that Emma Atkinson will be a permanent fixture every Wednesday night as she is taking over my 6pm Zumba class to aid my healing back. I know you all love her classes and it's good to mix it up a bit. I'll still be there to teach Zumba on a Monday and a Saturday. Please do continue to support her 🤩


The Pilates Reformer has been a pivotal piece of equipment to help in the strengthening and continued fitness and recovery for my back. I strongly recommend these sessions and I have been trying to bring the reformer to our mat classes so you can get some benefit in the studio too.


Continuity is key to a healthy body and mind. Balance is what we strive to achieve and I am so lucky to have the wonderful Sharon bringing Bones a holistic treat twice per week. Her yoga and meditation classes are not only strengthening for our mind body and soul but they are relaxed, informal, packed with knowledge and achievable. Sharon's gong bath sessions once per month are also invaluable for healing. Give them a try.




New year is traditionally a time for making resolutions and not regretting anything but learning and setting a resolve to try something new and different to make you the best you can be.


Think about the following if you are keen to make a resolution but don't know where to start


  1. Set resolutions that focus on personal wellbeing,like practising mindfulness ( see above!) maintaining a healthy work life balance, or dedicating time to a hobby you enjoy.


2. Family.

Quality time commitment

Plan resolutions that strengthen family bonds, such as scheduling regular family nights, creating a shared hobby or Committing to open communication to enhance relationships.


3. Professional.

Skill development

Set career oriented resolutions like acquiring a new skill relevant to your profession, networking with industry peers or aiming for specific professional achievements to foster growth in your career


These are just a few ideas that possibly may not be the obvious ones 🥂
